If you live, work, worship or attend school in Lauderdale or Clarke County, Mississippi you are eligible for membership with us at 1st MS Federal Credit Union. Once you are a member in good standing, your spouse, children, parents, siblings, grandparents and in-laws are also eligible for membership.
Ready to be a member?
The application process is quick and easy. Visit our Meridian or Quitman location and speak with one of our Member Service Representatives and bring in the following:

Valid, government-issued ID (Driver’s license, passport, military ID)

Verification of social security number (social security card, or it must appear on one of the valid, government-issued from listed above)

$25 ($25 is your membership contribution that must always remain in your savings account to ensure membership.)
As a member, you are an owner:
1st MS Federal Credit Union is member owned. Our Board of Directors are volunteers who are also members. You as a member have the right to vote for these volunteers that govern the credit union. 1st MS Federal Credit Union is not driven by profit and doesn’t have to answer to stockholders like a bank. We are driven to help you reach your financial goals through lower loan rates, higher deposit rates and customized products and services. Our deposits are insured through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government.
